Planning Process
Before you meet with a custom home builder, you need to know what you want in your home. Do some research, so you know you are getting exactly what you want. By doing this and following the steps below, 3D Decker Construction can help you go through the smoothest home building process you will ever have.

1 – Initial Consultation Interview

Already have a floor plan and a lot? Or are you having a hard time making a decision? Choosing your dream home is difficult todo; 3D Decker Construction will help make these decisions easier. Call us today (208-745-1177) to set up your initial consultation. During this stage, you learn more about who we are and we find out more about you. This is when we get to know each other better, so we can work together through the building of your high quality custom home.

2 – Figuring the Cost
After your lot is purchased and your plans are complete, we are ready to create and give you a cost proposal on your new home. This will only be an approximate estimate of all the final costs that go into building your high quality custom home.

3 – Specification Worksheet and Secured Proposal
This stage will help give us the information that we need to give you an exact price of what it will cost to build your high quality custom home. To determine the features and exact price, a detailed specifications worksheet is discussed. During this stage, knowing exactly what you want is paramount to getting an exact price (making changes later will affect the price). Once specifications have been made, then bids are secured from subcontractors and suppliers. A final price of the home is established, a contract is signed and the final detailed provisions are made to the house plans. If you have any changes that you would like to be made after this stage they will be done on change order forms and will be costly.

4 – Final Design Details
During this stage, 3D Decker Construction will work with you during the building process to ensure that everything you want is going into your home; thus creating the house of your dreams.

5 – Completion of a Masterpiece
After construction is finished, and occupancy permits are issued, we take a final walk through of your home. When you are completely satisfied and we have shown you how everything works, then you will be welcomed to your new high quality home by 3D Decker Construction.
